You can ask Pravaha Labs Pvt Ltd to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how, and what happens next. It applies to our website and to our apps, including Merakify and our AI answer-sheet evaluation platform, and to data we received from your connected Facebook or Instagram account.
1. How to request deletion
Send an email to pravahalabs@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Please include:
- Your name.
- The email address you used to sign up or contact us.
- Which app or service the request is about (Merakify, the answer-sheet evaluation platform, or the website).
- If you connected a Facebook or Instagram account, the name of that account or Page, so we can find your connection.
2. Verifying it is you
To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm your identity, for example by replying from the email address on your account. We will not ask for passwords or payment card numbers.
3. Facebook and Instagram data
If you connected a Facebook or Instagram account to one of our apps, you can also take these steps yourself at any time:
- In our app, use the option to disconnect your Facebook or Instagram account [CONFIRM: exact menu path in the app].
- On Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or “Apps and websites”), find our app, and choose Remove. You can tick the option to delete the posts, photos or videos the app published, if shown.
- On Instagram: go to Settings → Apps and websites (or Website permissions), find our app, and choose Remove.
What this does
Removing our app stops it from accessing your account and invalidates the access we hold. To delete the data we have already stored from your Facebook or Instagram account, including access tokens, connected account identifiers and related content, send us a deletion request as described above.
4. What we delete
- Your account and profile information.
- Content you uploaded and content generated for you in our apps [CONFIRM: confirm all stored content types are covered].
- Data and access tokens received from your connected Facebook or Instagram account.
- Your contact-form messages and our correspondence with you, unless we need to keep them for a legal reason.
- For the answer-sheet evaluation platform: [CONFIRM: describe how school and student data is deleted, and whether the school or Pravaha Labs handles the request].
5. What we may keep
We may keep limited information where the law requires it or where it is needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or enforce our terms, for example billing and tax records [CONFIRM]. Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle [CONFIRM: backup retention period]. We keep only what is necessary, and for no longer than necessary.
6. How long it takes
We will acknowledge your request within [CONFIRM: number] days and complete the deletion within [CONFIRM: number] days of verifying your identity. We will email you to confirm when it is done.
